Mr. Twister operated at Elitch Gardens in Denver, Colorado, from 1965 to 1994. It was designed by John Allen. It originally dropped directly into the double helix, but Allen felt that was slow and a little dull, so the ride was modified before the 1966 season to raise the lift hill and add more hills. It closed with the park in 1994 and was removed in 1999.
