This prototype was featured at the Yuusei Sega World (遊星セガワールド) event in 4th December 1992. The event was available to the public and was also the first public appearance of Sonic the Hedgehog CD worldwide.
This prototype was built almost a full year before the final retail release and seems to have been built specifically for the event, as it only contains files for just the playable content (with a few exceptions). This hack wasnt found at all, but it was found by Hidden Palace in 26th October 2019.
In this hack, Sonic does NOT have a Super Peel-Out animation, but I noticed that if you charge Sonics Spin-Dash for more than twenty-one seconds, he will skip to the end of the level. I also noticed that his Super Peel-Out animation does not make any sound, so I used a lot of Spin-Dashes to get through the level.

In this TAS, I play through a hack called Sonic 1: An... uh, Sonic 1: How... no, AN untitled and unnamed Sonic 1, that was in SHC 2015, by Bagumba. The 2016 SHC version is made by jubbalub. This contains all five levels shown, and after Carbon Chaos Act 3, things become normal again. Also contains a super-peel out and a spindash. I used Frame Advance and some save-states to help save more time. This is a simple, yet intriguing & alluring hack it took under five-and-a-half minutes. How fast and quick!
