This week’s VLOG is all about the ELEPHANTS REST cafe and gallery
First up the GoPro Hero 11 ….. I was using the white batteries for this ride and everything seemed to be AOK so does that mean all of the blue batteries are basically buggered, and they are what is causing the issues? The batteries have been well cared for. The run flat before being charged (it doesn’t take much to run them flat - just don’t use them and leave them lying around), and they aren’t over charged. This was just one run though, let’s see how the theory holds up in future rides.
I’d seem a cafe on google and wanted to check it out. Found a bit of info on the Facebook page so off I went on a relatively cool day. Wasn’t the easiest to find using the Forcite GPS which loves main roads and hates side roads, but it did get me there. What a welcoming little place it is, full of info on safari’s right across Africa. Talking to the owners about the Put Foot Rally they are more than willing to share the good and bad in each of the countries we are visiting, we just need to get a map and refine the route, then spend an evening with them to sort out the finer details. What a massive boost to the trip hopefully heading off problems before we encounter them. Brilliant.
