This album was written with intention, fragility, love and boldness. To love and to release, to grow and be better. It’s what it’s all about.
It was the first time in my entire career I got to record my OWN MUSIC in a studio. Everything is usually recorded in either my bedroom, or living room. So to have been given this chance and experience, was a huge step forward for me. For the first time in my life, I felt like a professional musician.
I had my friends also join me for the first time ever! From Frank, Cam, Chris, Sean, Henry, Zac, Leif, Tom, Conor, to Owen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It was so beautiful to have these guys listen to the demos that I had played, and totally understand where it was going. To get to hang out with my best mates and call it work, to laugh and cry and get frustrated, and conversate about life, our own experiences. What a time. What a gift.
And thank you to you all for following the journey. I know my story is only a humble and small one, but I appreciate whomever is spinning the tunes, and whoever resonates with what they’re listening to too.
Being a musician in 2025 is frustrating and sometimes a little hopeless, as I’m sure most of you would know. It’s hard to be seen in a huge ocean full of outstanding musicians, and the reality is - why would I? I’m not unique, I’m not doing anything special, and I have no reason to stand out from the crowd… however, you have all somehow landed here - and for that, I am indebted to you. I hope to make you all proud with this next record.
