Hi I'm back! (kinda)...
I wanted to share this cover with you because I fell in love with the movie Elemental.
The song is amazing and it totally fits with any flute. I decided to play on a glass flute because Ember could make glass from sand with her fire. So I thought, what if Ember could make a glass flute? How would then this song sound on a glass flute? I hope you enjoy my cover of this song :D
I filmed in front of a TV screen instead of my green screen because since my glass flute is transparent, the green screen effect would almost cancel it out and you would not be able to see it. So I'm glad that I had this idea to film with the glass flute in front of the TV. I think it turned out really great! The light interacting with the glass is everything!
Ok, back to the movie: I could relate to it on so many levels especially with Ember and her struggles with her immigrant family and society in general. I feel the same way a lot of times as an immigrant from Russia as other people are afraid to interact with me and my beautiful inner fire.
