Have a thunderstorm in your area? Record them to use as magical impact sounds! Thankfully my sister insisted that we record the thunderstorm near our studio in early November 2020. In the video, I used our favorite thunder recording as a base impact layer for this magic spell animation!

I have been finding ways to design fire magic sounds without needing to record the real thing. I came across a pretty good tutorial to generate fire sounds with a synthesizer (Massive)! These sounds are pretty good layers for fire magic spells!
