A year ago I composed an elegy for the victims of Covid-19. It was also a way of coping with everything that was going on in the world regarding the virus. Now I revisited it and did some refinements with new material featuring both the oboe and the french horn. This piece is probably the most personal to me of all the pieces I've composed to date. It feels as needed today as it did when I composed it back in March 2020. Last but not least, I just hope everyone stays safe and healthy and my deepest condolences goes out to everyone who's lost a loved one during this crisis.
