In this video, I'm reviewing the Elegoo PLA and PLA Silk 3D Printer Filaments, both 1.75mm. Elegoo's PLA filament is known for its reliability in producing consistent, high-quality prints, while the Silk series offers a beautiful, glossy finish perfect for visual projects. I tested both types to see if they live up to Elegoo's quality standards for surface finish, extrusion smoothness, and ease of printing.
With the standard PLA, I found great consistency and a smooth extrusion that resulted in clean and detailed prints. The PLA Silk, on the other hand, added a gorgeous, almost metallic sheen to models, making it ideal for display pieces. Both filaments offer low stringing and a quick-drying formula that enhances speed without sacrificing detail.
If you're after reliable, vibrant colors or a stunning glossy finish, these Elegoo PLA filaments are worth checking out.
