I’ve been moaning about my studio lighting failing during the current heat wave for a while now. Meanwhile its electronic lighting transformer shuts down at just 25°C room temperature. So it’s high time to take some action.
First we get the old one down from the ceiling. Then we compare it to the larger one replacing it. After we put the new one up and successfully test it, we tear down the old one. Finally we have a brief look at an electronic transformer schematic.
00 Intro – I moaned about my studio lighting
43 Removing – old transformer from the ceiling
40 Bigger is better – old vs new transformer
49 Installing – new transformer on the ceiling
39 Teardown – of old electronic transformer
44 Circuit board – of old electronic transformer
24 Circuit diagram – of electronic transformers
59 Wrap-up –it’s hot again, that’s it for today, bye
