Mihir Vaidya is chief strategy officer at video game leader Electronic Arts. In a conversation with Easton Center instructor Matthew Conroy, the vice president of product management at Warner Music Group, Vaidya discussed the rapid growth of gaming as entertainment.
Vaidya observed that gaming companies that take advantage of generative AI will be disproportionate beneficiaries of the technology while others fall behind. The growing trend among gamers for highly immersive customized experiences means that companies’ ability to tap AI to create greater engagement will result in a huge upside at lower cost.
UCLA and UCLA Anderson students, alumni, faculty and staff, along with leaders in the Los Angeles tech ecosystem, gathered for the 2024 Innovate conference. Easton Technology Management Center faculty director Terry Kramer (B.A. ’82) welcomed the most interdisciplinary mix of attendees the annual conference has seen.
