Here’s a snippet of a speech I gave in Singapore in June. Electricity use and economic growth go hand in hand, always, everywhere. That linkage is particularly obvious in Southeast Asia, where electricity use is booming, and the economies in Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and other countries are growing far faster than the rest of the world.
