Anode and Cathode spots can lead to crater formation but what exactly are the differences between those created at the cathode vs those created at the anode? The most obvious difference is obviously on which electrode the craters form but are there differences in size or shape? Is there a difference between the power at either end? What effect does the dielectric in between the electrodes have? Let's explore all of these questions.
