Well, it turns out, the Livewire is pretty close to idiot-proof... and at least lets you limp off of the road when you get to 0% battery. This was obviously user error, lol. We knew it would be close, but the indicated remaining range ended up being not quite enough because we were riding too hard. Lessons!
