"Fight and Build" - Art and Activism
The 2017 main event was held in Brisbane, Australia at the Globe Theatre during the weekend of March 25th & 26th, 2017. This 9th annual symposium was titled “Towards Global Unity and Abundance” to address the increasing severity of social destabilization, war, income inequality, economic slavery, ecological loss and, in short, an overall public health and societal crises playing out on the Earth’s stage today.
About Zeitgeist Day:
Also known as “ZDay” for short, this global awareness campaign features a main event with prominent Movement speakers and guests from all over the world, while working in solidarity with many other parallel events occurring during the same day and/or weekend. This gesture is one of global unity towards sustainable world that works for the planet and everyone one it.
About TZM:
The Zeitgeist Movement is a global sustainability activist group working to bring the world together for the common goal of species sustainability before it is too late. Divisive notions such as nations, governments, races, political parties, religions, creeds or class are non-operational distinctions in the view of The Movement. Rather, we recognize the world as one system and the human species as a singular unit, sharing a common habitat.

Anna Brodskaya gives some advice on how to negate anger and experience happiness, for anyone - from those on the frontline of political activism to those simply in the pursuit of a considered life.
Bio;
Anna Brodskaya has studied in New York, Milan, Cambridge and London. Increasingly disillusioned with institutionalized education, she dropped out of school in 2011, becoming a devotee of nonviolence both in communication and action. She is an artist and regularly engages in various arts based community projects in Galway, Ireland, where she currently resides.
