After receiving multiple calls from drivers, North Carolina officers were able to catch up and stop an eighty-year-old woman driving the wrong way on an interstate for 14 miles. She had thought she was going the right direction when she was pulled over. While no citation was given, she was made to go before the motor vehicle licensing center for evaluation on whether or not she should still be on the road. Outcome of this evaluation is unknown.
