Elden Ring has been nicknamed Dark Souls 4, yet it has plenty of Bloodborne-inspired elements that I think have been overlooked. The catacombs in Elden Ring aesthetically resemble Bloodborne's chalice dungeons while showing improvement on what was criticized about them, such as recycled bosses and empty dungeons with little returns. Treasures are consistently more valuable, and bosses and enemies seem more varied. If this is any indication of what the rest of Elden Ring will look like, I feel like Bloodborne players will find themselves just as satisfied as everyone else.
