Oh man, what a game to talk about. Never have I felt so amazed with a game, but still feel very decisive about some of it's designs. It's the best game they've done since Bloodborne, but I'm not sure if I want an Elden Ring 2, not if it's going to repeat the same problems I have with this game.
After Elden Ring, I honestly want From Software to go back to more tighter and dense level design like in the Dark Souls games, with quality content being the priority rather than quantity. Also, I really do think they should move on from the formula if we don't see significant improvements in some of the combat mechanics in the future. I'll still play future soulslikes and give them a fair shake, but I'm not excited for them anymore.

Notes:
- The lore and the characters are the most interesting aspects of the games world. But that doesn't make me care more about the story of the game. It just didn't click for me in the same way as the other From Software games.
- Explore everything the first time, really let it sink in. It'll never be the same afterwards.
- Use whatever you want honestly.
- You're allowed to have fun. If it means using summons to make your experience more enjoyable, then all is well.
- I would rather go to the Frigid Outskirts than fight Commander Gaius or Rellana again.
- Other games with amazing combat that's not a soulslike. Ninja Gaiden 1, Sifu, Kingdoms of Amalur, Devil May Cry 5
