I just beat Elden Ring for the first time in preperation for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and all I can say is wow... Elden Ring is more than a game and has changed gaming for me forever. As a longtime Souls fan, Elden Ring never really landed with me on the first playthrough years ago. In fact I stalled out in Leyndell and didn't come back for over two years. But after learning more about myself and Souls games in general, I returned, determined to finish the fight. Elden Ring has taught me lessons beyond just the game and in this video I want to talk about those with you, my history with Souls games, and spread some hype for the new DLC.
