The Deep of Night - ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN - The first impressions absolutely wrecked us. Counter already had some experience in this new mode, and he did say the Depth 1 was easy, but terrible events awaited us. Sentient Pest attempt went nowhere, while Fissure in the Fog almost went somewhere. Gaping Jaw was an immediate failure, and then Darkdrift Knight was the first boss we managed to defeat. Not so much for the second two attempts. That's 1 success out of 6.
As a DARK SOULS enjoyer that started with DARK SOULS: Prepare To Die Edition, and then went through DARK SOULS II, DARK SOULS II: Scholar of the First Sin, DARK SOULS III, DARK SOULS: REMASTERED, I got a chance to experience NIGHTREIGN, so why not?

The Punisher, but he misses his own point - Stream Request. From the beginning up to Grand Nixon Island, where I stop mid-way through.
Heres the 2005 PC release of the game, with applied community patches that restore cut scenes. Played at 1080p as the user interface does not scale with increased resolutions, making it harder to see user interface.
The score system of this game rewards cover-based, slower-paced combat rather than risk-taking, so it was decided that the score system will be ignored for the most part and Ill play this closer to Max Payne series, trying to make it more fun. With this in mind, the game play might be closer to The Punisher, but he misses his own point, as the title suggests. If well have time to spare post-end-game, then I could try playing a few levels by trying to get higher scores.

Trying out Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom - New Continent of Chapter 5 - Stream Request - Starting out with a remaining skirmish, then finally moving on to the new area - Hydropolis. After investigating the place and getting the audience with the queen, we have a boss slaying quest at Leucippes Labyrinth. Upon return we find the queen missing and immediately go searching for her in the Abyss.
I dont play that many RPGs outside of Tales Of titles lately. I dont know much about these series, so hopefully this is going to be a fresh and positive experience.

Results: It spontaneously flickered. Recent NVIDIA drivers are awful and cause crashes, so I was using the November ones, except either the game or the drivers werent playing ball and caused flicker.

Experiencing METAL GEAR SOLID 4 for the first time. Initially planned as a mix of lethal and non-lethal, this is close to no recovery items and non-lethal except for one particular sequence in Act 1. Besides Act 1, I also go midway through Act 2.
Ever since the late 00s internet, a way to play MGS4 on PC was pie in sky, so all I had were Raiden gifs and MGS Flash Collabs, until RPCS3 came to be, and even then there are stability issues that compromise your first experience.
