Learn when to be aggressive and when to back off, but don't be as aggresive as me unless you have the armor to take the hits. Basically any time he pulled out the grace sword I would book it, but with his grace hammer I would roll into him to attack. That's another big thing, you need to get comfortable rolling into his attacks rather than away so you can set yourself up for some punish attacks. But yeah get him staggered for those meaty critical hits, and learn his moveset well. Good luck.
