For Golden Godfrey you can finally grab Star Fists and start using those (strongest lvl1 weapon for me personally). I didn't start using star fists until I got to Maliketh but I wish I used them a little sooner because they are so OP. If you are gonna use the star fists it will take a little time to get used to the poor range, but once you figure that out you will be destroying enemy posture and doing good damage. Getting back to Golden Godfrey though he can be dealt with by learning how to dodge his consistent pattern or in my case I came in with a shield and enough armor and defense to avoid getting one shot so I could act more recklessly.
