Friday 25th June 2021


This was the main focal point of my long weekend in Shropshire; my first visit to and walk around the Elan Valley! I started just outside of Rhayader, from a signed car park for the Elan Valley Trail. I mostly followed a route I found on OS Maps; heading up on to the Cambrian Mountains and down towards reservoirs in the valley beyond.


I'm keen to return to this area and explore more of the Cambrian Mountains.
