**Heads up- apologies in advance for the weird sizing issue on the still image. My editing software was having a cow when I tried to export this, and keeping the image un-stretched was the only way to get it to export without crashing.**
Yet another excuse to tinker with some retro sounding synths. This piece started out as a practice session/experiment, but the melody and feel I came up with was so likable that I decided to try and flesh out a full tune with it.
Stylistically speaking, this tune is meant to be a hybrid of 80's and 90's racing game music. Games liek Top Gear are an example of inspiration. The instruments definitely have more of an 80's feel, while the melodies and music itself leans more on the 90's side. I like to think that it's an interesting hybrid of sorts.
