To begin our celebration of all things Guildhall School, we're taken behind the curtain at Glyndebourne Opera Festival with alumna Alexandra Lowe (Soprano, 2019).

Alexandra interviews fellow alumni as they bring Britten's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' to life, showcasing the incredible collaboration and camaraderie that we instil in our students for generations.

Featuring Guildhall alumni Alexandra Lowe (Soprano, 2019), Dingle Yandell (Baritone, 2001), Alasdair Elliott (Tenor, 1978), Robert Lewis (Tenor, 2020), James Way (Tenor, 2017), Nils Wanderer (Countertenor, 2021), Heather Tomlinson (Stage Management, 1993) and Ashley Beauchamp (Répétiteur, 2019).

To celebrate our participation in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025, we're sharing eight glimpses into life at Guildhall, today by those who know it best. From current students and teachers, to alumni and supporters, each of these stories offers a unique window into the creativity, dedication and community that makes Guildhall School so extraordinary.

Support our Big Give Christmas Challenge between 2-9 December 2025, will all donations doubled until we reach our goal.
