Over time, nature covered it with soil, grass, and other vegetation, making it difficult to spot and revealing its true form underneath the hill where it is situated.
The Great Pyramid of Cholula has a remarkable volume of 166,000 cubic feet (3.3 million cubic meters) compared to the 84,000 cubic feet (2.4 million cubic meters) of the Pyramid of Khufu in Giza.
