My first game, Ego Death, is available now!

It's a short first person horror-adventure where you return to your estranged Grandfather's remote home after his death to collect an important document, and get to know what your Grandfather has been up to all of these years.

This project represents a big milestone for us, as it was developed to tell a stand-alone story, but also be the beginning of something bigger.

Check out Studio Kerosene on ko-fi for updates, behind the scenes info, and future projects.

Review:
Good god, I must admit this game was breathtaking for free indie game! The graphics were mostly amazing and the audio really good too! The animations were a bit janky here and there, but far above the Indie standard. The story, although far from finished, was fantastic.

The graphics above ground lacked nothing, but the ones underground seemed kind of rushed compared to those above. You know how ancient civilizations/people love to make structures with over the top and unnecessary cosmetics ;). I would love to see some more of that, not that that is to be expected by an Indie game by any means, but setting the bar this high with outside environment makes the underground somewhat "out of place". The gameplay mechanics worked really well, even though using the flashlight was sometimes a little hard as the gun flailed all around. The audio lacked nothing of significance and really helped me immerse myself in the game.
Even though all this would make this game stand out, what really tops of this masterpiece is the very intriguing and interesting story! I can not wait to see what happens next :D!

The game is not much of a horror game as the AI is a bit rough around the edges and as the monsters are slow and repetitive, despite this, I was on the edge of my seat for most of the game, as the monster was introduced so late, and as the notes build up a great tension. This helps introduce the monsters much better than not having them around. It was not really the monsters that I feared, but the thought of them, which I think is a huge accomplishment by you!

Other than this, I have nothing to add. The game is a clear 5/5 stars. I will be looking forward to your future updates/projects with great excitement!
