Watch as Eelke Kleijn layers loops, one-shots, and effects to construct a track on the fly, then plays synth chords live over the top to build up the drama.

In this performance, the Dutch DJ/producer gets creative on a setup comprising 2 x DJS-1000 DJ samplers, a Strymon BigSky reverb pedal, and a Sequential Prophet-6 synth which he uses as a MIDI keyboard to control VST plugins in Cubase. The ‘glue’ holding it all together, and providing various effects, is the DJM-V10 6-channel professional DJ mixer.
