The LSO perform movements from Elgar's Enigma Variations as part of the 2026 BMW Classics concert live from Trafalgar Square.

Elgar wrote these pieces as a celebration of his friendships and this bold and energetic variation reflects the architect Arthur Troyte Griffith (Troyte) who was an amateur pianist, but very frustrated by his efforts!
