As you watch this, keep it in the forefront of your mind that all of this stuff was scrap. For stuff that people actually repair and where it matters, yes, you'd definitely want to match up all the specifications. For this stuff, who cares? Close enough is good enough.
Even though a lot of residential-grade self contained refrigeration systems aren't worthwhile or made to be repaired, I have found that I really enjoy it. (I'm also pretty good at charging them right on the money.)
