EDGAR CAYCE'S STORY OF THE ORIGIN AND DESTINY OF MAN -- Lytle Robinson
First published in 1972.
The complete history of mankind. Edgar Cayce, America's greatest psychic, gave health readings and cured a lot of people and while doing so, touched on the history of mankind through the past lives of the people he helped. Lytle Robinson has gone through the readings (which are hard to read and there are over 14,000 of them) and put together a readable book on the history of mankind on earth from the time of Atlantis until 1998 and beyond.
Here's the layout of the chapters and what questions about our past this book answers.
Part I:
1. Was there an Atlantis?
2. Creation
3. The Rise and Fall of Atlantis
4. The Pyramid Builders
Part II: The lost peoples of America
5. Enigma of the Incas
6. The Amazing Maya
7. The First North Americans
8. Who Where The Mound Builders
9. Norsemen in New England
Part III: 1998 and beyond
10. Crisis in Modern America
11. The Coming New Order
12. Reincarnation: The Continuity of Life
13. Human Destiny
This is one of my favorite books and I've read it cover to cover a couple of times, and still like to refer to parts of it as I read other books. Written in 1972, this book stands the test of time. It's amazing how we are making new discoveries all the time that only lend credence to what Cayce said decades ago while in a trance. If you want to know what our true history is, this is a great book. It's easy to read, and laid out nicely starting from where Atlantis was from a geological viewpoint, to why we're here on Earth.
