A solo fingerstyle guitar arrangement of Edelweiss / Edelweiß I've played around with for years, complete with the vocal harmony lines. Decided it was time to finally record it.

A beautiful song by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein for "The Sound of Music" (1959) inspired by the Edelweiß, a flower popular in Austria. Apparently this was the last song Hammerstein ever wrote lyrics for before his death in 1960. A fitting piece for your final exit.
