Eddy current array inspection is an advanced form of non-destructive testing that uses an array of single eddy current coils or sensors, multiplexed in a particular order to obtain the required sensitivity. This process delivers a number of benefits, including being able to test a large area in a single pass, higher sensitivity, rapid inspection, electronic data recording, and being conformable to complex geometries. Typical applications in industries including aerospace, manufacturing, power generation, and oil and gas include weld inspection, edge preparation, corrosion, and surface cracking.
