Filmed a few years back as a school project (not graded, mind you), three comrades and I had to make a Grange Hill-style intro to show what create stuff we could think of, complete with the music. It's just a bit of fun and not meant to be a work of art in the slightest. We might have done the shooting in a few hours, so please don't over-criticise the low budgetness. In particular, we had to play nearly all the roles ourselves.
Filmed and pieced together at St. Edward's School, Poole, Dorset, England.
The scratchy noise at the end is because the music was taken from an episode of the programme, and the kids were scribbling stuff in the opening scene. I'd probably do something about that nowadays, but it's immortalised now, so never mind.
I didn't shoot any of it (can't remember who did, I'm afraid), but the bloke with scruffy hair being beaten up, washing his hands, recreating Hitler's Nuremberg speech and other things is me, if you're wondering.
Probably my biggest regret is that there are two shots of a door closing in your face, which I somehow missed at the time. Again, I'd never let that slip by me these days.
This is purely a fan project made for amusement and practice, so don't see it as any attempt to copy Grange Hill. I also have nothing but nice things to say about everyone depicted, so no need to take offence. I'll keep them anonymous unless they object, but rest assured I mean only to let the world see our little project. We had good times and some fun stories were born from it, so it was a very worthwhile experience.
