EcoFlow wants $799 for the Delta 2 Max Smart Extra Battery at 2048Wh. I built a better expansion battery for about $540 using the WattCycle 50Ah 48V LiFePO4 golf cart battery plus the WattCycle EcoFlow expansion port cable — that's 2560Wh, more than 25% more capacity for $260 less. It's also 45 lbs instead of 80 lbs, roughly half the footprint of a server rack battery, and I bench tested it to 110 amps, capacity tested it, and tore it down to the cells.
