Jay Inslee: The absolute god of climate action. He gets an A plus plus from me, and I would vote for him today. Even if he doesn't win, I hope he becomes the Administrator of the EPA. Mentioned climate change in his closing statement with great rhetoric.
Elizabeth Warren: was the first to mention climate change, kudos to her. Has a great plan. Mentioned climate change as an existential threat.
Beto O'Rourke: Has a great climate plan, I'm still a volunteer for him, actually addressed climate change directly, but could've incorporated it more. Mentioned climate change as an existential threat. Mentioned climate change activists in his closing statement.
Tulsi Gabbard: Talked about a green economy, which was great. Not much else. Mentioned the green economy again in her closing statements.
Tim Ryan: good that he's talking about workers, that's what Sunrise Movement has been pushing. Otherwise, didn't talk a lot about climate change.
John Delaney: carbon tax is nice, but it should not be the only solution. His talk of bipartisanship is alarming, since it means he'll compromise at a time when compromise will lead to our destruction.
Cory Booker: Similar to DeBlasio, didn't even mention it, but also wasn't asked about it. Similar to Beto, mentioned it as an existential threat.
Bill Deblasio: Didn't even mention it, but also wasn't asked about it.
Julian Castro: Basically deflected a question about climate change. Not my candidate.
Amy Klobuchar: supports hunting and fishing, which is cruel and unusual punishment to animals. I refuse to vote for her unless I need to.

They had SO many opportuntities to bring climate change and the environment into this, from healthcare to U.S. intervention. The environment affects everything, but this debate made it seem like a side issue. Only Inslee really semed to comprehend this, or at least was the only one to express it.
When the moderators asked what the greatest geopolitical threat to the United States was, it was the perfect opportunity to mention climate change, and show true understanding of this crisis.
Instead, Delaney got it wrong, Gabbard got it wrong, Klobuchar got it wrong, Deblasio got it wrong-- even Inslee got it wrong.
Only Beto, Warren, and Booker got it right!
