This is a song I wrote quickly one morning. It’s technically very simple, but the melody stayed with me all day and wouldn’t let go. It began on my classical guitar, and when I sat down to record it, I added a few supporting layers from my other instruments — but I really wanted this piece to stay honest and uncomplicated. Sometimes the simplest ideas say the most, and this one felt worth capturing just as it was.
