Echoes of the End just launched, but sadly it’s basically unplayable on the Steam Deck. I tested it for about an hour and performance ranges between 8–28 FPS — way too rough to recommend. Unreal Engine 5 continues to be a huge problem for Steam Deck performance, and this game is another example of why. If you’re thinking of grabbing Echoes of the End for Deck, I’d hold off until major optimizations are made.”
