In 2010, the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians hosted one of the stops for the ECHO (Education through Cultural and Historical Organizations) Performing Arts Festival, featuring a group of six artisans from different regions of the United States. Each artist showcased their distinctive cultural heritage. MS Choctaw Curtis "Buck" Willis actively participated in the performances to illuminate Choctaw culture for the audience.
