A sort of character study/tribute to Bobby Singer (CW's Supernatural). I've been wanting to do this for so long! His death episode is one of my favourites, not just because it brought tears to my eyes but because the writing is subtle, the acting is breathtaking and the character development is brilliant. I loved finding out why Bobby became the way he was, how his family issues affected his whole life. And what gets to me most of all, obviously, is his love for the boys.
VOICEOVERS:
"You don't stop being a soldier 'cause you got wounded in battle."
"Family don't end with blood, boy."
"No matter what shape you're in, bottom line is: you're family."
"What does that even mean, you break everything you touch?"
"You break everything you touch."
"You broke my heart, Bobby."
"If you loved me, you would have found a way." "I'm sorry."
"They're supposed to make you feel miserable. That's why they're family.'
"I adopted two boys and they grew up great. They grew up heroes."
"Glad I saved the best for last."
