Eating at Broccoli Revolution at their Central Embassy location in Bangkok was a slightly unfulfilling experience. We landed in Bangkok, checked into our hotel, and were really looking forward to eating at an all vegan restaurant for our first meal in the city. We walked over to Central Embassy, a beautiful mall, and found Broccoli Revolution tucked among a retail section. They have an English menu and while the staff didn’t speak much English, the ordering went very smoothly. This location of the restaurant is quite informal and we saw other people going up to the counter to pick up their food to bring back to their tables, but we were served by the staff. We shared the nuggets, gyoza, sour curry, stir fry and two coconut waters. What shocked us was how much the meal cost! It was our most expensive meal of our Bangkok trip and definitely not the best meal of the visit. Why were we unenthusiastic about the food?
