A full house at #EIH, the EUROCONTROL Innovation Hub, for the Promote event of #EATIN, our popular user-driven π€ #AviationInnovation initiative βοΈ.
π In EATIN β the EUROCONTROL Air Transport Innovation Network β we work closely with end-users such as #ANSPs, #airports and #airlines to develop agile digital solutions & services to address their operational challenges. EATIN uses a three-step approach π£ β Connect, Build & Promote β to create rapidly solutions that can tackle key operational challenges.
This year's Promote event on 27-28 May was well attended with 100+ participants coming from 19 airlines, 10 airports, 8 ANSPs & for the first time 11 industry partners.
Topics discussed covered:
β solutions already in operational use
β prototypes developed to date
β ongoing operational trials
β newly launched projects
β industry solutions & potential synergies with the #EATIN initiative.
Our guests had the chance to engage π€ directly with project teams, explore opportunities for involvement in various project phases, and take part in demos π₯οΈ showcasing both #EATIN & industry-led projects.
β In addition, this year we hosted two dedicated ATC hands-on sessions π©βπ» for over 20 participants, giving them a unique opportunity to experience the role of an #ATCO using our simulators.
And it was also a chance to mark the 5th anniversary π of the #EATIN initiative β a symbolic milestone, as we look forward to expanding the network of operational stakeholders involved!
