Attack the tentapillar with the ice staff and keep your distance so that the turret doesn't change its target to the mini tentacles that spawn. The turret doesn't take any damage.

It seems this method has become pretty standard on twitch, but no one (as far as I've seen) has made a video on it on YouTube.

Saw this originally on Clwnbaby's stream several months ago, and I've used it ever since if the tentapillar is the best way to get to the atrium.
