Slow Cooker Lemon Butter Chicken
-8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
-salt and pepper to taste
-2 tsp garlic powder
-2 tsp onion powder
-2 tsp smoked paprika
-2 Tbsp minced garlic
-2 tsp Italian seasoning
-1/2 stick butter, cut into pieces
-zest of a large lemon
-1/3 cup chicken broth or stock
-fresh parsley and lemon slices (use the lemon you zested)

1: Combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, garlic, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
2: Place chicken in a slow cooker, and toss with the seasoning mixture.
3: Pour in the chicken stock.
4: Add butter pieces, lemon slices, and parsley.
5: Cover and cook on high for 3 hours, or on low for 6 hours.
