Shaker cards for beginners can often look tricky, but they're actually very simple to make as Craft Channel demonstrator Corinne shows you in this this step-by-step guide.
Starting with mounting and layering your patterned papers onto card, Corinne shares how to make a simple background for your shaker element. Then comes the shaker itself, this is done by cutting a circle frame from white card and adding acetate onto the back, then adhering foam tape around the edge to create a raised border. Then you can go ahead and sprinkle pearls and gems into the circle, before closing it by adding a patterned card circle disc on top. After that, all that's left to do is decorate with fun toppers and pearls!
