The Stronghold finder has been updated to work for Minecraft 1.9 and should still work for all previous versions of Minecraft.
This is a project I've been working on for a while now. I'm always doing Dragon Runs where I start a fresh world, gear up, kill the dragon and then leave. A big part of doing them quickly is Stronghold Triangulation but the math is a little cumbersome and I've never quite liked the tools out there for helping with it. Either they require you know the math, they go about it in an inefficient way, or just aren't user friendly. I also keep running into people who have played Minecraft for years and never found a stronghold or killed the dragon....whaaaat?
So here is my solution. I tried to make it as brain dead simple to use as possible for the math-phobic and as streamlined as possible for the triangulating, dragon hunting veterans.
If you're never killed the Enderdragon, go do it with the help of the Minecraft Stronghold Finder at strongholdfinder.com
