If you have a dash cam, I know it is a hassle to route the power cable from the dashcam to your car's power port which is usually in the center dash board or center console. You have to route the wire from your car's head board, A-pillar, down and behind the dashboard. With the Dongar Power Adapter though specific to your car, you can easily tap power from your rearview mirror's wire harness to power up your dashcam.
