EDIT: To make the pack-spawning enhancing mechanics work, the lowest outer block in the farm, at the level of the rails, needs to be a non transparent block like a stair block — but remember to keep solid blocks at both end of each rail :-)
In this video MineTheFab shows you how to build version 2 of a new compact creeper farm, The Flying Saucer. Because we could not make an interesting game mechanics consistent version 1 used 165 hoppers — version 2 uses only 15! With some help from the FABulous Discord Community we figured out how to make the mechanic consistent and some other minor tweaks. A special thanks to @EndingCredits for his sharp eyes on this one.
UPSIDE: Easy. Can be built directly on the ground. No cats. Cheap!
DOWNSIDE: None — since the hoppers are reduced by 150 pcs
RATES: 8-9 stacks of gunpowder an hour (per layer)
