Hello! In today's video I'm sharing an easy DIY journal tutorial that requires no stapling, no gluing, no sewing, super simple binding methods out there. Usually with journals or travelers notebooks inserts I use my long reach stapler or an anywhere stapler, but I skipped that and I’m just using straight up twine.
A few disclaimers about using twine. I don’t recommend it if you’re creating a family heirloom journal or album of some sort. It’s not reliable, sometimes the pages slip out if you handle it roughly, and also the tension on the twine may cut into the edges of your papers and fray them. So I only recommend this technique for a quick style journal, or maybe some quick penpal folders/albums which you can definitely make one of these and fill them up with all sorts of stationery goodies.
