Here is the 2x2 Tree farm that I have been using for more than 6 years now. Not all farms need to be over-engineered redstone giants. Sometime the simpler farm works best! Pair this setup with a Haste 2 Beacon and a Efficiency 5 Axe and you can easily get over 1.5 stacks of logs every 10 seconds!

*This farm also works in Java but is slightly slower*
