Recently invested in this super neat VST by 8dio called "Adagietto Strings". I like it. It has its short comings, but I really enjoy how expressive these are. As a video game composer, I got these specifically for RPGs, but they work where you need em no matter what genre. Price: $398 [or $118 if you get them on sale.]
